Levels of Participation: Level 1: Parallel Activity -- Teachers from different countries guide their students in answering one or more of the questions provided on the Questions to Get Started page of this website. Teachers then submit their students' answers to this website. Level 2: Shared Data -- Teachers partner with a teacher from another country and have their students communicate with each other about an agreed on STEM topic. Teachers then submit a final product of their choice to this website.

This project is a blend of Level 1 and Level 2. Connect with existing networks -- Reach out through list serves, email, and education forums. Talk to other educators at international education conferences. Ask around -- Start talking about the project with colleagues, friends and family.
Hawaii STEM2STEM Pen Pal Project -- A small group of Hawaii teachers are partnering with teachers from Brazil and Samoa to get their students communicating about STEM. The students write to each other about STEM topics and the teachers work together on Edmodo to facilitate communication between the students.
